Jake - Senior

Jake has just returned to our program, changes in is owners home life means his is available for adoption once again. Jake's foster home reports that he is very, very sweet. He has settled in with the pack very well and gets along well with everyone here. He is a happy, tail wagging boy. I don't need a large house or yard to play in, but I ask that you take me for walks to relieve myself (a fenced in yard is always nice but not necessary) and I would like a big soft comfy bed to lay on all day.

I might be 11 years old, but don't let my age scare you, I have lots of love and tails wags to give my new forever family. Come and meet me at the next open house - I'll be the one with the tail spinning!

Thomas - Senior

Thomas has just been returned to our program when his owners moved and could not take him along. He has been living as an only dog, is said to be fine with small dogs but not cats. Thomas has blended in fine with the other GH's at his foster home. I don't need a large house or yard to play in, but I ask that you take me for walks to relieve myself (a fenced in yard is always nice but not necessary) and I would like a big soft comfy bed to lay on all day.

Boc's Peter Pan

Peter retired from racing with a broken hock, however it will not affect him in any way from being a wonderful family friend. He had surgery to repair his injury and is now living in his foster home.

12/4/2011 Update: Peter's hock is healing nicely and the hard cast has been removed. He will need to be leashed walked for another 4 weeks and then should be good as new!

Anarose

Anarose has settled in nicely at her foster home. She is very quiet and mellow and cat safe! As a retired racing GH and retired broodmom, Rose is ready to start her 3rd career as a professional pet. She had broken hock that didn't heal well and has some weakness in that leg. She would do best with someone that doesn't have a fenced yard and will leash walk her. She has been started on joint supplements and they seem to of helped her a bit already. She probably should be on a joint supplement permanently. Come meet this beautiful girl at the next open house!

Jackson

Jackson just arrived from Florida. He is a bit shy at first meeting but warms up rapidly. He was tested "cat safe" and he has shown no interest in cats or small dogs this week at the vets. He seems to be very calm. Come meet this handsome fellow at the next open house!
